The Bible appears to have volcano related metaphors to describe God, the following is notes from the above video:
Mount Sinai was covered with smoke, because the LORD descended on it in fire. The smoke billowed up from it like smoke from a furnace, and the whole mountain trembled violently. https://biblehub.com/exodus/19-18.htm
Smoke rose from his nostrils; consuming fire came from his mouth, burning coals blazed out of it. https://biblehub.com/psalms/18-8.htm
The term YHWH to describe God first appears in relations to the sojourn of Moses with The Midianites, who are associated with a God called a name similar to YHWH. The term YHWH itself may be rooted in a proto-Arabic word being: impassioned, jealous, love, and covet. The volcanic association imposed upon God appear at the time of the Midianite sojourn, suggesting Midianites may have worshipped a Volcano God or a god whose attributes were inspired by volcanoes.
Prior to God being called YHWH, God was called El who was a Canaanite Sky god, perhaps wed to Asherah Queen of Heaven who may have been a Sky Goddess or Earth Goddess. In Hellenic Mythology the gods were created by The Sky and Earth, but Sky and Earth, Ouranos and Gaia, were preceded by Chaos. Hence under the Hellenic System: The Monad or The One appears to be Chaos, and the primal force of creations and destruction may be best symbolized by a Volcano god.
With the journey of Moses, El seems to have been subsumed by YHWH, and then later as Canaan transitioned to becoming Israel, with the Canaanite Public adopting customs of the Israelite polity and blending into Israelite culture, the attributes of Baal were put upon YHWH, there are stories of YHWH conquering a Leviathan which was a story attributed to Baal, as well as Indra and Saint Michael. Furthermore The Bible even has mentions of a bosom of God which links God to Asherah.
The Bible then seems to be a blend of Near Eastern Paganism with influences from Canaan, The Midianites, Egyptians, Babylonians, Hebrews and Persians. God seems to be most often associated with the wind: Proverbs 21:1 – “The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.”
