Rune Magic in The Hobbit

The Hobbit movie is an examples of Rune Magic. Bilbo The Hobbit and The Dwarfs are on a Quest to find wealth guarded by a Dragon. Before they meet Gandalf carves a Wealth Rune onto Bilbo's door, binding journey to wealth.

Then they gather for a feast and sing an incantation together to inaugurate the journey to The Mountain of The Dragon to gain the Wealth. In The Futharks the rune for Ride ᚱ follows the rune for Mouth ᚨ/ᚩ (Ansuz).
